Notion sync does not work properly on iOS app

Notion sync does not work when clicking the "sync" button on the iOS app (only Google Calendar syncs, not Notion.). In order to achieve sync, I have to close the iOS app and reopen it. Upon reopen, it syncs properly.

In my case the sync has start to work properly in both direction automatically and even at the press of sync button in case the changes are made in notion and i don't want to wait the automatic sync interval of akiflow. Thank you

Same problem since mid december. Sync with Notion has become terrible slow (at least more the half hour in my case). And the sync button don't force the notion sync update. You find the "button" screenshots attached.
