Inbox Filters

It'd be great if we had criteria we could use to filter our inbox.
For example, suppose we have tasks coming in via two different project management tools like ClickUp and Asana, a filter to only show tasks from Asana and vice versa.
Additional filters from apps, or combinations thereof, would be great as well. Same goes for things like tags, priority, date, etc.

Agreed! I’d love to even see the ability to separate inbox items by which database in Notion they came from, for example.

Sunsama does it really well with the Integration Filters

Akiflows Inbox handling is the biggest paint Point.

@Stefania - Morgen does this where you can cycle between integrations in the inbox. Although I think Akiflow has an opportunity to design it better as it gets too cluttered how Morgen does it.
Another thing that I would love on the Inbox Filters is to be able to only show tasks that I created in Akiflow.
So maybe something like:
- Show all tasks
- Filter to only show Akiflow Tasks
- Filter to show by integration (checklist type of which integrations I'd want to show)
I hope that's helpful. Thank you guys. You've been amazing.

Eli Alcaraz: Thank you so much Eli! This is very helpful :)

Hi Conner, how would you use this kind of view? Thanks!

Stefania: It would be a quick way to easily filter my tasks by each integration. Instead of getting lost in the sea of tasks, i could easily and quickly see what is organized by each tool: Notion, Slack, Todoist, Jira, etc.
Stefania
Conner Drew: Thanks Conner! I'll keep you posted about this.

I really need this. I have hundreds of todoist tasks showing in my inbox - how am I supposed to make sense of it without any filtering?
Stefania
Tim: Hi Tim, do you want all these tasks to be in Akiflow? Which filters would you like to have in Akiflow? Thank you!
A
Aleksandrs
Stefania: Todoist project/subproject filter and ability to filter all subtasks within a task. This last one is a nightmare in Akiflow's inbox as task and subtasks are shown separately.

Hi everyone! While we are still considering Inbox Filters by integrations, labels etc, you can now filter your Inbox by Tags! 🏷
Tags is a new feature we just released, they are a great way to categorize tasks and filter every view. Plus, you can assign multiple tags to your tasks;) Check this link for more information: https://www.notion.so/akiflow/Tags-1c5ffbd04d234e3eb53f653eedd4f78a.
Let me know what you think about it!

Stefania: If the integration configuration had the option of automatically assigning tags to tasks, it would be a sufficient solution at the moment.
Stefania
Marcin Lewandowski: Thanks Marcin, we are considering this!

Stefania — Looks like this has been in "Planned" for over a year now. Are you folks still deciding whether to add this or not?
Sorting ≠ Filtering
To address your point about it "feeling risky" to have filters that could cause a user to not see something come through—I get that, but at the same time, we're adults.
If we leave a filter on and miss something, that's on us. Imagine if Google Sheets or Gmail didn't have filters because they felt it was too risky.
