Adding timestamp on task under label uses wrong date

When making a task inside a label (by clicking on the label and then typing your task in the bar), you're unable to add it to a time on that day - e.g. If I type "Example Task 12:35pm" it will assign it to 1st January 1970 @ 12:35PM rather than today at that time.
