Kanban Board for projects

When I navigate the projects pages, I'd like a kanban board based on the section showing tasks in the kanban view/section.
Almost like the Upcoming view, but within each project, showing the today calendar on the right-hand side.

Upcoming view: Group by Project

It would be AMAZING in the upcoming view to be able to group by project almost, so I could see Today: I have xyz task under project 1, and abc tasks under project 2. I know you can sort by project but visually it doesnt give me the same quick distinction

Kanban View + Task Status Field

I love kanban views in task managers. Something about moving tasks to columns based on status just makes more sense for my brain. It's easy to get overwhelmed when you see a big list of things to do -- kanban makes it easier to sort through things with a view.
This could be implemented on the project level, or at the broader task level.
Also -- task status as a field would be super helpful. Since default sections are based on timeline, not status, it's hard to really track task progress currently. Simply adding a status field would go a long way, the only alternative right now is to rewire default sections or add status tags (which get mixed up with the other tags).
Plz consider!

Actually, any kind of kanban view would be great. I don't manage tasks, I manage projects so I need to be able to see how the projects have to be placed in the week and month so that I don't leave anything behind.

So with "labels" and "sections" in Akiflow, I can almost replace Trello.
Just need to turn the "sections" 90 degrees (kanban) and then I can migrate tasks through a pre-work flow. Might want to not hide the someday tasks in that view...
