Would be nice to have Linux support for the mainstream distros like Ubuntu and Fedora

My main computer runs Linux Mint and this feature would be epic.

A linux app would be amazing. It's like the one thing that keeping me from regularly using this app. It get left off of my workflow because I have to open a browser. It'd be way easier to use if I could have this app open on start.

The current web app does not perform well enough on Linux (Ubuntu 22.04 with Gnome on Wayland), for example drag n' drop scheduling fails on Chrome browser. Would be nice to have Linux Desktop app similar to Windows and macOS to able to fully utilise Akiflow.

Teemu Turpeinen: Hi Teemu, thanks for letting us know! Could you please check if you have the latest Akiflow version? The number is 2.41.100.

Stefania - Yes, the version is 2.41.100 and it would seem the issue lies within Wayland support in Chrome.

I'm headed to the competition due to the lack of this and no Linear integration.
Stefania
Scott: We'll start working on Linear soon :) If you upvoted that request, you'll receive an email as soon as it's live!

Upvoting a Linux App. I work cross-platform (I have several Macs, one Windows laptop, one Linux - my main personal device - and two Chromebooks) and shall say that the desktop app (I use mainly the Mac one) provides a better experience than, say, the Chrome webapp I have to use on Chromebooks. Would love to have nice a Linux app for that.

A native Linux app would be so nice! As an app via Chrome extensions works okay, but e.g. notifications are missing.
Morgen for example has a nice Linux app.

I think a linux app is essential for Akiflow to be great and would open up the service to a whole new segment of potential users!
