Pomodoro Timer: Reduce or Remove Shadow Around Pomodoro Timer Overlay

Brock
Is there a reason for the heavy shading around the Pomodoro timer overlay? It would be great if the shadow were much more subtle—or even removed entirely. Right now, it’s about the same size as the timer itself and ends up obscuring the app underneath, especially when placed over something like VSCode.
It's a small detail, but since the timer is a persistent UI element, the aggressive shadow makes it feel visually distracting.

Jeson P ah, gotcha! Thanks for the quick followup. Really not a big deal of course, but yeah! Would be nice if it could be more subtle.
Otherwise it's excellent. Sticks around as I move between virtual desktops (I'm on Windows).
I did notice it occasionally fails to stick on top and I have to minimize all windows, wiggle it around a little, and then it resumes staying on top.
But again, like the shadow, not a big deal.

Hi Brock You're right — the heavy shadow around the Pomodoro timer can be distracting. It’s not a bug, but a design limitation from the operating system, which adds that shadow to all floating windows by default.
That said, we agree it can be improved and will explore ways to make it less intrusive in the future. Thanks for flagging it!
