It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to create private tasks for specific team members. Here’s how it could work:

• A private task is only visible to the creator and the assignee.

• Both the creator and assignee would have full control over the task.

• No one else on the team would be able to see it.

In addition, it would be great to have the option to create public tasks:

• Public tasks are visible to everyone on the team.

• Any team member could grab a public task from a shared pool and pull it into their own task list.

• Ideally, the task creator (and/or the assignee) could toggle a setting to make the task either public or private.

This flexibility would give teams much more control over task visibility and ownership while also encouraging collaboration through shared public tasks.
