Features & Improvements Request

I'd like the ability to add projects to meetings, this will allow time blocking (you can group related project tasks in and around meetings). it will also allow tracking the time spent in each project (area/category/project).

Add the ability for calendar event colors to update automatically according to the tags assigned to the event or task.

Allow users greater flexibility to categorize events. The current internal/external/solo labels don’t fit many workflows, so customizable or additional categories would better reflect users’ realities and improve usefulness.

Enable users to define their working location (e.g., "Home," "Office," "Traveling") for specific days or ranges without needing to create an all-day event.

It would be incredibly helpful to be able to write detailed notes directly inside a calendar event, just like we can do with tasks. I’m referring to a dedicated, full-screen note editor within the event view — not just the shared description field that everyone can see.

urrently, .ICS calendar feeds do not sync in real-time, and the update frequency depends on the provider (Google, Outlook, etc.), often causing delays in reflecting changes such as canceled or rescheduled events. Additionally, all imported events from .ICS feeds appear as "Busy," limiting visibility into event details.

It would be nice if all events including the ones we are yet to accept sends notification inside Akiflow.

Currently, Akiflow does not provide a dedicated section to view a list of meeting invites. In platforms like Google Calendar, users receive notifications when someone books a meeting with them, making it easy to track new and pending invites. It would be helpful to have a similar feature in Akiflow where users can see all their upcoming meeting invitations in one place.

Add the ability to drag calendar events into task lists or automate the conversion of specific calendar events into tasks.

When rescheduling events in Akiflow, the tool currently shifts the start date/time but retains the original end-time, which can lead to incorrect durations. Example: Original event: Today at 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM (30 minutes) When rescheduled to tomorrow at 10:00 AM, Akiflow sets it as 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM Expected behavior: The event should be rescheduled to 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM, preserving the original 30-minute duration.
